This session will explore the role of Strategic Foresight in an organization committed to Policy Governance. It will proceed in a hands-on and minds-on way to deal with these questions: Why must a Board now learn to embrace Strategic Foresight as a new and vital obligation?  Why must a Board not leave Strategic Foresight to its CEO?  Why must the CEO be involved in Strategic Foresight?  Just what is Strategic Foresight, anyway?  Why is it becoming a requirement in well-governed organizations? How can you tell sound strategic foresight from schlocky futures work? How might we get started?
